The upgraded version of the "plastic restriction order" is here. Do you know the path to e

From January 1, 2021, the upgraded "plastic limit order" is officially on the road.
Nowadays, plastic and its products have gradually penetrated into all areas of social life. From industrial and agricultural production to food, clothing, housing and transportation, plastics all play a huge and irreplaceable role.
"Plastic Restriction Order" is upgraded again, what impact will it have on our lives? On January 11, Tianyancha App released the "Plastic Industry Development Report", revealing the development of China's plastics industry with big data.
There are more than 3.5 million plastic-related companies in China
Tianyan Check Professional Edition data shows that there are currently more than 3.5 million plastic-related companies in China that have “plastics” in their business scope and are operating, surviving, moving in, or moving out.
From the perspective of geographical distribution, Chinese plastics-related companies are mainly concentrated in Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shandong, and the sum of plastics-related companies in the four places accounts for 50% of the total number of related companies in the country.
While the industry is developing rapidly, the Chinese plastics industry is also working hard to implement the concept of ecological and environmental protection, and through practical actions to achieve the goal of sustainable development. According to the data, plastic recycling refers to the process of recycling waste plastics obtained by recycling companies through garbage classification and direct collection of industrial waste, and using multiple recycling processes to recycle waste plastics and process them into plastics, plastics and other products for reuse. According to statistics from the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, the country uses about 30 million tons of recycled waste plastics each year, accounting for more than 30% of plastic consumption.
There are many types of recyclable plastics, including PET, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP, PS, etc., mainly from waste appliance shells, children's toys, plastic pipes, plastic films, and some waste medical plastics.
According to the data of the professional version of Tianyancha, there are currently nearly 140,000 business scopes in China including "recycling, recycling, PET, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP, PS", and the status is in operation, surviving, moving in, and moving out. Companies related to recycling plastics. In terms of geographical distribution, Jiangsu, Shandong and Guangdong are the three provinces with the largest number of related companies, each with more than 10,000. Among them, Jiangsu ranks first in the country with 17,000 related companies. In terms of industry distribution, wholesale and retail and manufacturing accounted for approximately 48% and 36% respectively.

In the twelve years since the "Plastic Restriction Order" came into effect in 2008, the total number of registered companies related to recyclable plastics (all company status) in China has increased from 40,000 to 190,000. It is worth noting that the annual registration growth rate of related companies in 2016 was as high as 17%, and the growth rate remained above 18% for the following four years. Subject to industrial and commercial registration, China will add more than 30,000 recyclable plastic-related companies in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 21%.
The demand for biodegradable plastics has growth potential
Industry insiders said that from the perspective of environmental protection and resource utilization, there is a certain potential for future demand for degradable plastics. Including biodegradable straws, biodegradable lunch boxes, biodegradable packaging bags, etc. It is understood that the degradation process of environmentally degradable plastics mainly involves biodegradation, photodegradation and chemical degradation. These three main degradation processes have synergistic, synergistic and coherent effects with each other.
Tianyan Check Professional Edition data shows that China's current business scope includes "biodegradable, photodegradable, chemically degradable, and biodegradable", and there are nearly 8,400 biodegradable-related companies that are active, existing, moving in or moving out.
In terms of geographical distribution, China's biodegradable related companies are mainly distributed in Yunnan Province, with nearly 5,000 related companies, accounting for nearly 60% of the country. Guangdong Province ranks second with more than 670 related companies, and there are more than 300 related companies in Anhui and Shandong provinces.
In the past ten years, the annual registration number and growth rate of China's biodegradable companies (all company status) have shown a steady upward trend. Up to now, according to the industrial and commercial registration, Tianyancha Professional Edition data shows that China will add nearly 2,300 biodegradable-related companies in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 38%.
PLA biodegradable straw manufacturers still need to increase
The upgraded version of the "Plastic Restriction Order" stipulates that the catering industry nationwide prohibits the use of non-degradable disposable plastic straws. Many people discovered on the first day of 2021 that the disposable plastic straws provided by the original milk tea shops, fast food restaurants, and roast coffee shops were gone. They were either replaced with paper straws or polylactic acid biodegradable straws. , And some have been replaced by lids that can be drunk directly.
It is understood that polylactic acid biodegradable straws are produced from corn, sugar cane and other crops through a series of complex processes. Under composting conditions, it only takes 90 days to complete the degradation. However, these biodegradable products are currently facing a relatively tight supply of raw materials.
Tianyan Check Professional Edition data shows that there are nearly 200 PLA-related companies in China currently operating, surviving, moving in or moving out. Up to now, according to the industrial and commercial registration, China will add about 48 new polylactic acid-related enterprises (all enterprise status) in 2020, a year-on-year increase of nearly 129%.[Gravimetric blender]
